Job Overview
You will be joining a well-established team going through a large app revamp and re-build. This is a fully greenfield project! As a Mobile Developer, you will help lead and deliver new features for their application, as well as work on the iOS and Android platforms (Swift and Kotlin). You will work closely with the CTO and engineering team to help shape the future of the business, and they will support you throughout this exciting journey.
Job Description
The Role
This is a key role for the business. Working directly with the founding members of the team, you will work with a highly skilled cross-functional engineering team to deliver new features across the Apple Watch app, mobile, and third-party integrations. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside other engineers on the core platform and grow your skills there as well.
You will:
- Architect, build, and test new features for iOS and Android apps
- Be hands-on with app building
- Have full autonomy to own and drive the direction of the platforms
- Work with product teams to identify the best solutions for customer experiences
- Build CI/CD pipelines
- Manage releases
About You
This business is open to the type of candidate it is going to hire, but you may have a mixture of the skills below:
- 5+ years of experience developing commercial software, working on both iOS and Android applications
- Strong experience with Swift/SwiftUI and Kotlin
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment
- Experience delivering features end-to-end
- Experience with cloud providers
- Interest in the product
