My global, market leading client, who have a Widnes based operation are looking to recruit on a full-time permanent basis an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator.
- Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
- Holidays: 33 days
- Hours: 38 per week Monday to Friday (between 08:00 – 18:00)

The purpose of the role is to maintain the company's general ledger and plant and asset register, ensuring financial transactions are accurately recorded. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience in a similar position.
Duties:
- Ensure alignment of processes with company policy.
- Post purchase invoices to suppliers' accounts following invoice approval procedures.
- File all authorised and posted invoices regularly.
- Reconcile and clear the GRNI account.
- Create and process payment runs and handle manual payments when authorised.
- Review and reconcile supplier statements.
- Resolve invoice queries and respond to supplier queries via the AP email address.
- Process personal and credit card expenses, ensuring timely approval and accuracy.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Carry out additional duties related to the department as requested, including covering for absentees.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable experience in nominal ledger management.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English.
