Here at Every Step Recruitment, Finance & Accountancy, we are very happy to be recruiting for a Credit Controller for a highly successful and expanding company based in Letchworth. This is for permanent position, full time and office based.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- All aspects of credit control
- Reviewing aged debt reports and ensuring any overdue balances are chased
- Ensuring company credit procedures and policies are adhered to
- Allocating credit limits
- Monitoring credit limits
- Chasing overdue monies via telephone/Email or letter
- Liaising with Customer Services and sales representatives as necessary
- Reconciling of accounts
- Placing accounts on hold if required
- Carrying out credit references for prospective accounts
- Producing weekly reports on customer payment status
- Query resolution
- Maintaining customer details on the system
You will have the following skills and attributes:
- Credit Control experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Intermediate MS Excel skills
- A positive, 'can do' attitude towards your work
