Job Overview

This role will be responsible for the overall Financial Manager for LKQ Euro Car Parts UK. The responsibilities will include month close postings, variance analysis and reporting to LKQ Europe. This person will also be responsible for balance sheet reconciliations, clearing of outstanding items and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for processing and reviewing month end close postings
  • Responsible for maintaining detailed balance sheet reconciliations for UK company
  • Involvement in the production and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packs for UK to LKQ Corporation, with variance analysis
  • Involvement in the preparation of SOX control compliance during close processes, ensuring all submissions are completed accurately, on time and in adherence to LKQ Corp policy.
  • Responsible for responding to queries from external and internal auditors as necessary
  • Responsible for resolving VAT and Corporation Tax enquiries and analysis.

Skills and Experience

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Superior analytical and Excel skills
  • Ability to communicate with the non-finance colleagues
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A driven, hard-working individual
  • Experience managing a team
  • Experience of working for an FMCG /logistics/ Multisite business.
  • Experience of SOX
