Description

  • Preparing and reviewing accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships, whilst completing Tax returns.
  • You will also lead on small/medium sized assignments and assist on large assignments.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to junior staff.
  • You'll be an important point of contact for your clients and for more junior members of the team
  • Ensure all financial operations comply with legal regulations and company policies.
  • You'll be accountable for a portfolio of clients/jobs, managing yourself and others whilst alos being actively involved i the business development for the Weymouth office.
  • Monitor departmental performance and propose improvements.
  • Lead by example, promoting a positive work culture.

Profile

A successful Assistant Manager should have:

  • A strong academic background in Accounting, ACA or ACCA Qualified.
  • Have a least 2/3 years post qualified practice experience.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities and people management skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality accounting and finance services.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
