Elevation Recruitment Group's Technical Engineering division is currently working with a global, leading manufacturing business in their search for a Technical Manager in South Yorkshire.
The position centres around maximising the productivity and efficiency of a growing technical division, developing a range of business critical KPI's and taking on responsibility for the technical divisions projects / capex delivery. There is a highly competitive salary and excellent benefits package on offer for the right individual who can combine experience in technical leadership with a metals, metallurgy or material science background
The Technical Managers duties & Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Group strategy and share knowledge and learnings for the technology roadmap, allocating technical resources to achieve outlined objectives
- Drive and develop a wide range of technical business functions including the development of highly qualified teams
- Ownership of key technical KPIS and projects delivery
- Utilise previous hands on technical experience form challenging manufacturing fields to steer the growth of the division
- You will lead from the front, coach mentor and develop your team to be customer centric and deliver the best customer experience
- Active engagement and implementation of change management across the site
- Support the department in the delivery of first class service; products and technical knowledge
