A leading global med-tech company is seeking to expand its UK sales team with an experienced Business Development Manager. This remote position is based in the UK and focuses on EMEA sales. Position Summary:

The EMEA Sales Manager will manage product sales within a specified EMEA territory. Reporting to the EMEA Regional Sales Manager, this role involves direct promotion and sales of the company's products and services. The successful candidate will utilise their technical, organisational, and customer knowledge to influence purchasing decisions and generate revenue. Additionally, this role contributes to marketing, market planning, and technical development of products and services.

Essential Skills and Responsibilities:

Generate revenue through sales of assigned products, meeting specified targets.

Develop and pursue sales leads, contributing to the team's overall success.

Research and compile potential customer contact lists.

Follow up on leads and opportunities to secure orders.

Enhance visibility and market penetration in the assigned region by adhering to the Sales Territory and Opportunity Management Methodology.

Provide detailed quotations for purchases and budget/grant proposals.

Log all activities in a CRM database, maintaining detailed records of sales opportunities.

Determine local marketing strategies and goals based on market research and share insights with the team.

Support and train external channel partners to ensure business growth.

Collaborate closely with the service team to achieve high customer satisfaction.

Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience selling state-of-the-art products in large territories.

Direct sales experience.

Ability to stay updated on new technology trends and apply them to real-world projects.

High level of diplomacy and judgement to influence stakeholders at various levels.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to both small and large groups.

Proven problem-solving and negotiation skills, with a focus on closing sales.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business systems.

Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.com is preferred.

Language Skills:

Fluency in English.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree or higher in a scientific discipline is preferred.

5-7 years of sales experience is preferred.
