Job Vacancy: School Support Worker - SEN School.
Full-time position
September 2024 to July 2025
We are seeking passionate and driven individuals with a background in SEN and Complex Needs to support children and young adults within Special Provisions in Warrington.
As a School Support Worker, you will be repsonible for helping the students acquire life skills, build independence as well as making their learning accessible.
These special provisions provide students with a host of facilities to meet their individual needs. There are cafes, soft play areas, sensory rooms and kitchens available to support their learning and development.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide holistic, tailored support for the students within your classroom.
- Support the students in reaching their learning and development goals.
- Work with students on a 1-1 or small group basis
- Provide a safe and healthy environment that promotes the wellbeing of all children
- Liaise with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure around the clock support.
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with Special Educational Needs / Social, Emotional Mental Health / Complex Needs
- Enhanced Child & Adult Workforce DBS
- A genuine passion for helping those with additional needs
