Parts Administrator

Working in a team of 2, the role of Parts Administrator is pivotal within this company. The Parts Administrator will cover the following duties within the Parts Department and liaise extensively with all other departments including sales, accounts and customer services

Job Description:

  • Answer and process incoming parts calls from customers and service technicians.
  • Pull orders, receive, and put away stock.
  • Order parts and develop relationships with departments and outside vendors.
  • Enhance customer retention by monitoring customer satisfaction with parts support and by responding to customer concerns/requests.
  • Maintain direct contact with current and prospective customers.
  • Prepare customer quotes.
  • Process paperwork.
  • Inventory control to include cycle counts of stockroom, vans, and customer consignments

The successful candidate will ideally possess:

  • Good verbal communication, written communication, interpersonal, organizational, numerical perception, and computer skills
  • Valid driver's licence (essential)
  • Parts or inventory control experience and lift truck industry experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel and Word), Parts and Service manuals, Internet) Ordering software
