Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire (Hybrid once embedded)
Salary: £40-60,000 per annum dependent on experience

We are proud to partner with an established international business who have recently created a new global position for a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Advisor. This position will play a crucial role in developing and delivering the DE&I programme across all locations, working closely with HR, Sustainability, Internal Communications, and business leaders to foster an inclusive environment with diverse hiring, equal growth opportunities, and equitable policies.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Contribute to the creation of strategies that promote an inclusive work environment.
  • Keep abreast of external trends, laws, and factors influencing DE&I programmes to ensure alignment with market standards.
  • Define and steward relevant DE&I metrics, establish targets, and devise plans to achieve them.
  • Monitor colleague sentiment regarding DE&I, raise awareness of equity issues, and promote change.
  • Ensure appropriate recognition for colleague DE&I contributions.
  • Create and deliver DE&I training and campaigns in collaboration with Human Resources and Internal Communications.
  • Identify the needs of specific minority groups and develop strategies to create a more equitable work environment.
  • Work closely with HR policy makers, country HR Managers, and champion and affinity teams to identify opportunities for further DE&I action.
  • Align with Sustainability to ensure the Social pillar is fully represented in the Sustainability roadmap.
  • Collaborate with various business functions to ensure consistent strategies and plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Essential background in substantial aspects of DE&I, you'll have ideally been in a standalone or dedicated EDI position previously.
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence a wide variety of internal stakeholders.
  • Strong alignment with company values & behaviours.
  • Proficient in analysis, reporting, and influencing.
  • Ability to work independently and overcome obstacles through initiative.
  • Effective prioritisation and time-management skills.

To begin with, the role will be predominantly office-based whilst embedding and establishing relationships with key stakeholders, however hybrid working will be offered once settled.
