Job Description - Management Accountant
An innovative and expanding established company based in Ilford have an opportunity within the finance function to join the busy office team on a full time, permanent, long term basis. This role will be varied, assisting the Financial Controller and taking full ownership of the Management Accounts and month end tasks for a group of owner connected companies within an existing finance team.
About the role
The successful Management Accountant will be someone who has an ethical approach, and a high can-do attitude to problem solving and getting tasks completed.
- Producing the full sets of monthly management accounts for 5 entities, including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis with commentary
- Posting journals including accruals and prepayments, as well as any adjustments
- Assisting to prepare the budget and forecast as well as reforecasting
- Supporting the Financial Controller with reports to aid strategic planning
- Preparation of supporting schedules for General Ledger accounts
- Preparing regulatory reports
- Revenue and cashflow reporting
- Partnering other departments to discuss business information
- Supervising a small team
