Job Title: Assistant Ecologist
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000
Location: Wiltshire
We are working with a specialist family-run ecology consultancy based in Wiltshire, sitting on the Salisbury Plain who are looking for an Assistant Ecologist to join their team. As an Assistant Ecologist you'll receive:
- £24,000 - £26,000 depending on experience
- Hybrid working, with 3 days per week in the office
- Excellent progression opportunities
As an Assistant Ecologist your duties will be:
- Providing ecological support to a varied range of projects across different sectors from individual householders architects, landowners, government and utilities
- Planning and coordinating field surveys
- Undertaking field surveys and managing survey data
- Undertaking mapping using QGIS
To be considered for the Assistant Ecologist position, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant area, such as Ecology, Biology or Zoology
- Proven experience within ecological consultancy
- Willingness to complete field surveys and travel to different sites
- A full valid UK/EEC driving licence and your own car
