Our client, a dynamic and evolving Top 50 UK accountancy organisation in London, is seeking an experienced Accounts and Outsourcing Manager to join their team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients and contribute to the growth and success of the organisation.

Position Overview

As an Accounts and Outsourcing Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of compliance services to a diverse portfolio of small and medium-sized privately owned limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders. You will also manage ad-hoc projects, review the work of team members, and assist in their training and development.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of SME clients, including limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders
  • Oversee the delivery of compliance services to clients
  • Handle ad-hoc projects as they arise
  • Review the work of team members and support their training and development
  • Prepare proposals for potential clients

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with previous experience in a managerial role
  • Proven track record in delivering accounts and meeting client compliance requirements
  • Experience managing a team of accountants and demonstrating commercial awareness
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Sage, Quickbooks, and Xero software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Effective time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Flexible attitude and ability to prioritise workloads
