Are you an experienced Finance Manager seeking a part-time role within a dynamic and growing company? My well-established client, based in Bishop's Stortford, is looking for a fully qualified Finance Manager to join their friendly and forward-thinking team. This is a brand-new position, offering you the chance to make the role your own and contribute to the company's continued growth.
What's on Offer:
- Part-Time Hours: Approximately 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Perfect for working around school hours (e.g., 9:30 am – 2:30 pm).
- Salary: £40K – £46K (actual salary based on a full-time equivalent of £60K – £70K, depending on experience).

Your Responsibilities for the Finance Manager role:
- Provide monthly management accounts and detailed financial reports.
- Use financial modelling to forecast and analyze income streams.
- Develop strategies to maximize profitability and improve financial performance.
- Collaborate with senior management to drive company growth.
- Prepare statutory accounts and provide costings for business decisions.
- Supervise one direct report and attend board meetings.
- Work closely with the CEO, using Sage and CRM systems to manage financial operations.
What You'll Need to be successful in the Finance Manager role:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a relevant accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLookUps, Pivot Tables) and financial analysis.
- Experience in preparing statutory accounts and using financial modelling.
- A proactive, energetic mindset, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
