Reed Education are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join our school in Crewe.
As a Food Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and inspire our students. You will have a deep understanding of food technology and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in our students.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons in food technology for students at all levels, from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.
- Developing and implementing innovative teaching strategies to ensure that all students reach their full potential.
- Assessing student progress and providing regular feedback to students and parents.
- Ensuring that all students are safe and well-supported in the classroom.
- Working collaboratively with other teachers and staff members to develop a cohesive and effective learning environment.
- Keeping up to date with the latest developments in food technology and incorporating these into your teaching.
Requirements:
- A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- A recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS.
- A passion for food technology and a commitment to providing an outstanding learning experience for all students.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to plan and deliver effective lessons.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up to date with the latest developments in food technology education.
