Your new company
Our client is a new, well-funded business that has been operating for a few years now and, as part of their expansion plans, they are moving to new, modern offices in Peterborough. As part of this expansion, Hays has been asked to help them hire the very best in experienced customer service talent.
Your new role
Your job will be to work as part of a small team providing support to both business and domestic customers through all channels (phone, email, website and webchat) providing information, advice and solutions on everything from billing queries, invoicing and servicing.
The business is currently implementing increased customer service hours, so the working rota is expanding. Currently, the teams work shifts are 9-5 or 11-7 Mon to Saturday (with only a half day on Sat), but by the end of the year, the plan will be to include Saturday and Sunday shifts too.
This job is 100% office based, so no home working but there is plenty of parking on site and easy access to bus routes (once they move to Peterborough).
What you'll need to succeed
Experience of technical customer service support ideally to do with telecoms or internet support but our client might also consider 1st or 2nd line IT support is critical for our clients. We are also looking for an exceptional communicator who enjoys working as part of a team. You'll be comfortable switching from business customers to private individuals and so, therefore, able to adapt your style to help and serve everyone.
PLEASE NOTE: to begin with, this job will be based in Spalding, but by the end of September, it will have moved to their gorgeous new offices in Peterborough.
