They cater to a varied clientele both in the UK and internationally, with a particular emphasis on entrepreneurial, owner-managed businesses that are committed to innovation.

What Will You Do?

As part of the accounting services team, you will manage a diverse portfolio, primarily focusing on clients within the healthcare sector. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the management of your portfolio, which involves workforce planning, work-in-progress (WIP) management, and billing.
  • Demonstrating a thorough understanding of assignment plans and effectively briefing team members.
  • Delegating tasks to junior team members while ensuring work is completed within budget.
  • Reviewing files prepared by junior colleagues and producing completed files for final partner review.
  • Collaborating with partners to effectively plan and manage workflow for the team.
  • Building and nurturing client relationships, both with existing clients and new opportunities.

What Experience Will You Bring?

While the following experience is advantageous, the firm values passion and potential. If you meet the minimum criteria and are eager to develop professionally, we encourage you to apply:

  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA or ACCA) is essential.
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of healthcare clients, including statutory accounts preparation and tax computations is required.
  • Proven people management experience.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • A commercial and proactive approach to client development.
  • A good working knowledge of accounting software.

What's on Offer?

In addition to a competitive salary, the firm provides an attractive benefits package, including:

  • 25 days of annual leave, with the option to buy or sell up to 5 days.
  • Private medical insurance.
  • A contributory pension scheme.
  • Life assurance coverage (4x salary).
  • An employee share scheme.
  • A company car and fuel card via salary sacrifice.
  • Family-friendly policies, including paid time off for dependents.
  • Two days of paid volunteering leave.
  • A cycle-to-work scheme.
  • An Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) with shopping discounts.
