Role: Financial Administrator

ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit a Financial Administrator to step into an exciting opportunity with a leading client of ours with immediate effect.

Due to our clients' expansion, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Financial Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will act as the point of contact for client queries with regards to pensions, investments and protection as well as liaising with product providers covering all aspects within the general office administration to ensure a first-class service is provided to internal and external parties.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking phone calls, enquiries and requests, handling them where appropriate
  • Corresponding with clients in both a written and verbal capacity
  • Processing New Business
  • Assisting Paraplanners and Advisers with preparing client review packs (on an annual and tri-annual basis)
  • Arranging client meetings and management of Advisers' diaries
  • Complete Portfolio Illustration requests
  • Back-office support
  • Ensure all financial planning administration is carried out in accordance with their procedures
  • Maintain client records on company software to ensure that all files are well presented, accurate and compliant

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a Financial Planning firm (Essential)
  • CII Level 3 Qualification in Financial Administration preferred, though training can be provided to achieve this
  • Working knowledge of IO and platform experience
  • Understanding of Model Portfolios/DFMs is preferred
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workloads
  • Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Confident in IT and office software packages
  • Team player and positive attitude
