Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee the operations of the premises in the absence of the Manager and Assistant Manager.
- Ensure the unit's profitability and improvement by adhering to the Company's standards and policies.
- Lead by example to foster a positive and respectful team culture.
- Manage variable costs effectively to maintain profitability.
- Contribute ideas and feedback for business planning, including promotions and events.
- Deliver high-quality customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and a strong management presence during peak hours.
- Train the team in upselling techniques and personalized customer service.
- Control stock according to Company procedures, including handling, portioning, and minimizing wastage.
- Assist in managing labour costs by adapting to changes in demand.
- Identify training needs and participate in staff training to uphold Company performance standards.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and Company requirements for hygiene, food safety, health, and safety.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work professionally with a team.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to manage variable costs and contribute to business planning.
- Knowledge of stock control procedures and compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
