Salary up to £37,500 FTE (Up to £18,750 for 2.5 days)

An exciting opportunity has arisen at an FE College with an excellent reputation in the Devon area for a permanent, part-time Engineering Lecturer to teach L2-3 students and apprentices in the classroom and workshops.
Whilst teaching experience and qualifications are preferable, the college are also open to considering motivated individuals from the engineering industry who are passionate about passing on their trade knowledge in an education environment, as the college are happy to provide full training and put successful candidates through their L3 teaching certificate.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and informative sessions to students.
- Share your industry expertise and practical skills.
- Foster a positive learning environment conducive to student success.
Requirements:
- Level 3 or above in an Enginering related subject
- Willingness to obtain an ENHANCED DBS check
- Knowledge and experience of bench-fitting and CAD
- Passion for teaching and passing on knowledge.
- Occupational competence and relevant skill set.
- Willingness to pursue a teaching or assessing qualification within 2 years (support provided)
