We are seeking an experienced and passionate Criminology and Psychology Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching KS5 students and a proven track record of delivering high-quality education in Criminology and Psychology.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver stimulating and challenging lessons that cater to the needs of all KS5 students.
- Stay current with the latest developments in Criminology and Psychology to ensure the curriculum is up-to-date and engaging.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Provide academic support and counselling to students as needed.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and whole school training events.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages students to engage with the subject matter and develop a passion for the field.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A recognised teaching qualification in the relevant subject area - PGCE or BA ED HONS / FE
- Experience teaching Criminology and Psychology at KS5 level.
- Strong understanding of the current curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
