Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dentist to join a private dental practice. As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients, diagnose and treat various dental conditions, and promote oral health. Your expertise and compassion will contribute to the overall well-being of our patients.
Duties:
- Perform dental examinations, including evaluating the condition of teeth and gums, diagnosing dental diseases or abnormalities, and developing treatment plans
- Administer anesthetics to patients as needed
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns
- Conduct routine cleanings and preventive treatments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for creating dental restorations
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques for diagnosing dental conditions
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health principles
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Effective communication skills to explain treatment options and educate patients on oral health practices
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Completion of a residency program is preferred but not required
- Current CPR certification
