Project Support Officer

Reed Secure are working with Police Forces, who are looking to recruit Project Support Officer.

  • Hybrid - 3 days in the office / Locations: Kilburn, Holborn, Kennington (need to have capacity to cover all locations)
  • Full time temporary position up to March 2025
  • Day rate: £362.96 umbrella or £282.48 PAYE
  • Proposed start date aims as soon as CTC vetting is granted ( The Hiring Manager is looking to fast track the vetting - up to 30 days)

Job details:

The Admin Support for solutions pillar will be required to cover BAU duties and this role will include but is not limited to the following:

  • The role holder will provide comprehensive, confidential, and professional support service to the Head of Solutions and Solutions Pillar.
  • Admin support - provide admin and secretariat support to the Solutions Team
  • Reporting and Insight - produce timely and accurate dashboards and highlight reports.
  • Planning – track progress against programme milestones and manage the Portfolio schedule, Critical Milestone log, Plan-on-A-Page (PoAP), and Change Control.
  • RAID Management - maintenance of the Portfolio Risks/Assumptions/Issues and Dependencies log.
  • Information Management – custodian of all programme artefacts including central repository/filing of key project documentation.
  • Lessons Learned - capturing key lessons learned & maintaining the programme lessons learned log.
  • Finance Tracking – support the projects in gathering and analysing finance information as required and raising Purchase Orders.
  • Work closely with the Project Managers to ensure timely delivery of information, outputs and reporting requirements.

Skills and Qualifications: You will be expected to evidence the following:

  • Excellent competency in Ms Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Ms Project)
  • Team oriented and collaborative mindset
  • Strong analytical skills

POLICE VETTING REQUIREMENTS

All security clearances require you to provide evidence of your UK footprint where you have been physically present in the UK.

The requirement for clearance is to have been present in the UK for at least 3 of the last 5 years.

Failure to meet the residency requirements will result in your security clearance application being rejected.

Also, checks will be made against:

  • Departmental or company records (personnel files, staff reports, sick leave reports and security records)
  • UK criminal records covering both spent and unspent criminal records.
  • Your credit and financial history with a credit reference agency
  • Security Services records
