The opportunity
Head of Finance required for a period of 3-6 months to oversee all financial aspects of this multisite organisation whilst a permanent hire is recruited.
The Role
The Head of Finance will be responsible for the day to day operational delivery of the finance function including management of a small team. This also includes:
- Financial planning and reviewing financial strategy.
- Preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
- Preparation of financial statements.
- Financial analysis and recommendations for improvement.
- Production of financial reports for Board.
- Manage audits and mitigate any risks.
The Person
The Head of Finance will be:
- Ideally qualified accountant but not essential.
- Have previously managed and supported a team.
- Have a proven track record in financial management
- Comfortable to get into the detail and work amongst the team.
- Excellent at analysing data and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
