Software Development Manager
- Location: Epsom 2 days onsite, 3 days remote.

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Development Manager to lead my clients Business Technology Solutions & Information Security Department (BTS & InfoSec). This pivotal role involves guiding the business through technology change, delivering and ensuring robust protection of business processes, present & future.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Lead and manage a dedicated team and third-party partner, overseeing the entire integration process.
- Influence and implement development governance, setting clear goals and objectives for the team.
- Define and implement a strategic roadmap for software delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Design and develop high-performance, secure, and scalable APIs, while contributing to our DevOps practices.
- Work closely with the BTS Management Team to set relevant strategies and directions within a highly regulated environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in API development and integration technologies such as REST and SOAP.
- Extensive knowledge of secure coding principles, including OWASP and Threat Modelling.
- Excellent hands-on coding skills using ASP.NET, the .NET ecosystem, and tools like C#, Visual Studio, and dotnet CLI.
- A deep understanding of SOLID principles and the importance of writing loosely coupled testable code.
- Strong experience in automated CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps YAML pipelines.
- Familiarity with API platforms and tools, such as Swagger and Postman.
