Position: SEMH Teacher (Year 9)

Contract: Full-time, with potential for permanent position or long-term until a successful recruitment
Pay Rate: £120-£145 per day for the first 6 weeks, with an increase for long-term booking

Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEMH Teacher to join our team and work with Year 9 students. This role is available immediately and offers the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate, or a long-term contract until we successfully recruit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching: Deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to the needs of Year 9 students with SEMH needs.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment, addressing behavioural issues promptly and effectively.
- Student Support: Provide individual support to students, helping them to achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Assessment: Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and reports to students and parents.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver a cohesive educational experience.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. (unqualified will be considered with evidenced experienced in SEND teaching)
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
