We are currently working with a dynamic and fun specialist communications Agency with a team of over 100 talented content creators, digital planners, creative strategists, designers, account handlers and much more.

The role is incredibly varied on a day-to-day basis (aren't all HR roles?). They are always looking to identify improvements in their processes so we hope you will be someone who can support them on this journey. This is an ideal opportunity to get exposure to all generalist aspects of HR. CIPD Level 3 would be beneficial.

Some of your biggest responsibilities will consist of:

  • Be the first point of contact for all recruitment with both internal and external (recruiters) stakeholders.
  • Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, including; posting job adverts, conducting initial screening of CV's, setting up interviews, providing feedback etc.
  • Manage the new starter induction process for all departments, including; Carrying out pre-employment checks, providing/collecting new starter paperwork and setting up induction timetables.
  • Developing and booking in the companies Learning & Development calendar for the year. This includes; booking training sessions in with both internal and external trainers and ensuring the training points system is kept up to date.
  • Help develop a wellbeing-centric culture by supporting the development of initiatives.
  • Act as the HR representative on all company committees, supporting the role out of any initiatives or company events.
  • Assist with any Health & Safety admin, ensuring we have relevant cover across the company (fire marshals, first aiders, Mental health first aiders etc.)
  • Manage the Company Sharepoint page by keeping upcoming events and news stories up to date.
  • Manage the development and role out of the monthly meetings by communicating with relevant parties to ensure content is ready each month
  • Keep our internal HR system up to date, by adding new starters/removing leavers, ensuring all promotions/role changes are inputted, accurately recording sickness.
  • Support with disciplinary and grievance matters, including investigating and presenting disciplinary cases.
  • Respond to general HR queries from managers and employees regarding all HR activities
  • Serve as the primary contact for benefits queries and act as the in-house expert
  • Update payroll spreadsheets each month with all relevant data and share with Accounts team
  • Further general HR/recruitment support where and as required

Culture is really important to our client in achieving that vision. They all share a passion to be the best, deliver meaningful work and push the boundaries. Encourage their people to think freely and push creativity, continually testing and learning. All of which means their clients get the stand-out they want and their people get to show how talented they are.

It also means they put a lot of thought and investment into internal programmes, to make sure they can support each other's wellbeing. This supportive culture and generous package of benefits and employee initiatives is why people love to stay with the business and grow as part of the agency.
