The Role:
As our Finance Assistant, you'll be the backbone of our Finance team, ensuring smooth operations across the organisation. Your main focus will be on managing purchase invoices/orders and maintaining the cash book, while also supporting the team with continuous improvements and process refinements.
Key Accountabilities:
- Support the Finance Team: Assist in daily operations to ensure efficiency
- Manage Purchase Ledger: Oversee purchase invoices/orders and prepare payment recommendations
- Maintain Cash Book: Keep the cash book updated and provide regular cash position updates
- Handle Financial Processes: Process cheques, manage finance emails, and administer the vehicle register (insurance, MOT, tax)
Person Specification:
We are seeking someone with proficiency with purchase ledger in a multi-functional finance team, coupled with experience using finance software and Excel. Demonstrated ability to identify and pro-actively address invoicing issues.
