Butler Rose are pleased to be working with a forward-thinking, medium sized accountancy firm based in Towcester to recruit a talented and motivated Client Manager to join their growing team.

This role will involve handling accounts, tax (both corporation and personal), and, if desired, can include some audit responsibilities. As a Client Manager, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing tailored solutions and building lasting relationships.

The Client Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring their accounting and tax needs are met.
  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and other compliance documents.
  • Offering expert advice on tax planning and financial strategies.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to deliver comprehensive audit services (if desired).
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting and tax regulations.

Ideal Candidate:

  • AAT qualified and / or Part or newly qualified ACCA/ACA
  • 3-4 years of experience in accounts and tax within an accountancy practice.
  • Experience in personal tax is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and client management abilities.
  • Proficient with accounting software and technology-driven solutions (Xero and Taxcalc knowledge desirable)
