Sales Valuer

Are you an experienced residential sales negotiator / sales valuer looking for something a little different? Would you like the opportunity to manage your own diary where you no longer have to work evenings and weekends? Then, this may be the role for you!

Our client is a valuation specialist who provide their clients with valuations for tax purposes and assist them with selling their property. They pride themselves on building long-term relationships and are trusted by many of the top solicitors and accountancy firms across the country.

They are looking to recruit a well-presented, articulate Sales Valuer who is compassionate, empathetic and has the ability to build relationships with clients. As you go about your daily work, you'll develop a strong sense of how our client helps and guides people with their property needs.

Whilst working independently on a day-to-day basis, you will operate as a member of the Pimlico office working remotely and will be expected to liaise and attend weekly meetings with the director and other team members as necessary.

What your day might entail:

  • Carrying out in person valuation inspections with clients (covering London and Home Counties)
  • Compiling comparable evidence
  • Identifying clients' requirements and advising them
  • Preparing properties for sale
  • Pitching for instructions
  • Carrying out viewings
  • Identifying opportunities to improve customer service and making recommendations to the team.

Personal specification:

  • At least 2 years' residential sales experience
  • Strong valuation skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • A keen eye for detail
  • An organised way of working and ability to prioritise
  • A well presented individual
  • Articulate
  • Confident communicator with a can do attitude
  • Although the role is a remote one there is a need to have easy access to London and surrounding areas
  • Full UK driving licence and own car.

The package for this role will include a basic of £30,000 to £40,000, plus on target earnings of £60,000. Company mileage will be paid.

Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.30pm. No weekends!
