Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons and activities that meet the individual needs and interests of Reception students, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to explore, learn, and develop.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students, ensuring all learners are challenged and supported.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching approaches and strategies to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on students' progress and fostering positive home-school partnerships.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and creativity to meet the challenges and opportunities of primary education.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
