37 hours per week
Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 15:00, Friday, 07:00 - 14:30
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a temporary refuse loader for a client based in Abergavenny working within their Neighbourhood services department for an immediate start.
The Role:
- To Ensure recycling and waste collections are undertaken in a professional, efficient, and safe manner, including, Food waste, Garden waste, Residual waste (Black bags), Hygiene waste, Dry recycling, Trade waste.
- To collect waste from households and businesses as determined by the recycling and waste strategy.
- To Ensure all collection are made on schedule.
- To monitor contamination in recycling collections
- To follow and comply with all Safe Working Practices, procedures and Health and Safety Policies.
- To work at other depots when operational necessity demands it.
- To report any incidents/concerns to your supervisor immediately
- To ensure that all relevant paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- A good understanding of Health and Safety issues
- Good communication skills
- It is desirable for the post holder has a clean and current driving licence.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
