Job Purpose
- Support a varied portfolio of clients, providing excellent taxation compliance, advisory and planning services
- Preparation of personal tax returns for sole traders, partnerships and individuals with rental income
- Preparation of capital gains tax computations within self-assessment returns
- Preparation of P11D and P11D(b) forms
- Ensure HMRC compliance with relevant statutory requirements, liaising directly with them on clients' behalf
- Work closely with Senior Managers and Partners to ensure service excellence across the team
- Research regularly to interpret changes in tax laws and regulations
- Nurture meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues alike
- Mentor and guide junior staff by reviewing work and knowledge sharing
- Champion your own professional development by undertaking progression opportunities where possible

Job Requirements
- ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified, part-qualified or with the desire to begin studying
- Proven track record of working in a tax role within UK practice
- Highly personable and an excellent communicator, both on paper and in person
- Excellent understanding of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and colleagues
- Well organised and confident managing own workload autonomously
- Good at working under pressure to meet deadlines, budgets and targets
- Self-motivated, professional and reliable
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel etc
- An enthusiasm to progress within the firm, undertaking continuous professional development
