About Our Client

They are a charitable Trust of entrepreneurial community schools and colleges that help young people to reach their potential. They support their schools' Principals and Teachers in rapidly improving the quality of education on offer at early years, primary, secondary and sixth-form levels in order to transform the life-chances of their students.

About The Role

They are looking to appoint a Trust Data Manager. This post sits within the national team and works with and for the Trust's Head of Data and Analytics. As an organisation that values data and seeks to be evidence-based in all things, this post will involve a combination of working with data that supports Trust-wide activity along with supporting schools in a range of daily activity. The post holder will support the data team's mandate to link and develop all areas of Trust data and to standardise approaches to data collection and management informed by good practice. The postholder will ensure the integrity of the school's MIS, employing a rigorous system of checks to identify issues and will work collaboratively with other teams to help improve access to data, and data quality across key areas.

Essential Criteria

  • English and Mathematics - GCSE - strong pass grades
  • Three A level qualifications or equivalent
  • Previous successful experience as a Data Manager in a school setting
  • Previous experience of using Bromcom fully at an advanced level
  • Good understanding of the education sector and its data, particularly relating to performance measures, attendance and exclusion data
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Attention to detail, meticulous in accuracy and able to review, refine and redraft work to ensure that work is done to a high level of excellence and accuracy
