Financial Accountant-International (with Travel), Global Financial Services Firm, Up to £60,000, London and Hybrid/Remote
A well-respected international global financial services firm is looking to welcome a qualified Accountant into its Finance team.
The company provides you with an exciting role within a high-performing team, with a great work ethic. You will be providing commercial finance support for their International Platform. This is because their Group is undergoing significant growth for the foreseeable future.
This role will allow you to travel to different European locations and offer a flexible working environment. These locations include Australia, Switzerland, Austria, Greece, Malta, Chile, and Mexico.
Due to the large size of the finance team, there are great opportunities for internal progression.
Your Role
- Providing commercial financial support to the International Platform.
- Dealing with any issues that the Group has with the numbers produced by the overseas entities.
- Onboarding the newly acquired business, then monitoring their performance and handling any queries.
- Assisting with new system implementation within the group financial reporting team.
- Ad-hoc preparation of financial statements and supporting the preparation of annual group reports & accounts.
Your Skills & Qualifications
- Be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Experience in controls and remediation is desirable.
- Consolidation and IFRS knowledge is desirable.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build relationships.
- Great Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage constant change.
