Pertemps is delighted to offer an excellent opportunity within the London Borough of Harrow for a proactive and motivated Pensions Officer to join their team. This role provides a competitive pay rate of £16.86 PAYE per day. Additional benefits include accruing up to 28 days of holiday per year (including Bank Holidays) and the opportunity to apply for any internal permanent roles within London Borough of Harrow.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary contact for a diverse range of clients, including Harrow Schools, teachers, NHS pensions, and scheme members.

Provide guidance and support to scheme members and school management regarding pension-related issues.

Efficiently process all actions on the Teachers/NHS Pensions portal.

Function as the primary SAP Requisitioner for Resourcing Services.

Requirements:

Post-qualification experience in a large organization delivering similar services.

In-depth knowledge of relevant systems, policies, regulations, professional guidelines, legislation, and emerging trends within the specialist area, such as the Teachers' Pension Scheme.

Experience in developing policies, procedures, and practices.

Strong ICT skills, including proficiency with standard software and specialist systems.

Proven experience in handling pension scheme instructions.
