My client is a well-established consultancy specialising in acoustic engineering and noise control solutions. Their comprehensive services encompass noise studies, acoustic design, and mitigation solutions. With expertise in various specialisations such as architecture, environmental engineering, surveying, and manufacturing, the company is committed to delivering tailored bespoke solutions to address the unique acoustic challenges of its clients.

This position is a remote role that requires the successful candidate to travel to different sites across the Midlands region as needed. The candidate will conduct essential surveys and assessments and subsequently compile all crucial data into informative reports remotely.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in acoustic engineering or a related discipline.
  • Membership in the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).
  • Minimum of one year of practical experience in sound and noise surveys.
  • Possession of a valid UK driver's licence.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of work and meet project deadlines.
  • Consolidate technical data from assessments to produce comprehensive and unambiguous technical reports.
  • Foster effective communication and maintain relationships with key stakeholders throughout the project's lifecycle.
  • Perform surveys and evaluations on noise and vibration using modelling software.
