Finance Manager

Gleeson Finance are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager for this well known, UK wide PE backed business, based in South Bedfordshire. This is a true development opportunity, where you will proactively play a key part within the finance division.

This is a newly created, progressive role. Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager, we are seeking a commercially minded individual to provide support through their growth phase. You will be responsible for taking part in the planning process, financial analysis, month-end close and providing management information. You will also be involved in financial reporting, building financial models and projections.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a finance partner, providing financial insights, guidance, and recommendations to senior stakeholders and the Senior Manager.
  • Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to develop project budgets, financial forecasts.
  • Perform financial analysis and modelling to evaluate project feasibility, profitability, and return on investment.
  • Monitor project variances and risks, and provide proactive recommendations to optimise financial performance.
  • Prepare regular financial reports, including variance analysis.
  • Build and operate long-term financial models and reports across numerous strategic scenarios
  • Assist in preparing documents including operational reporting.
  • Assist with debt cashflow and month end close.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant CIMA, ACCA or ACA.
  • Expertise in reporting, forecasting, analysing costs and advanced financial modelling.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
