Job Description:
Are you an experienced social worker with a strong background in children's services and commissioning?
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, planning and commissioning services, and working closely with partners to deliver high-quality care and support to children and families.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify risks, needs, and strengths.
- Developing and implementing care plans that support the well-being and development of children and families.
- Collaborating with commissioning teams, external agencies, and community organizations to plan and deliver services.
- Providing support and advocacy for children and families, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are protected.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in line with legal and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in a social work role, preferably within children's services and/or commissioning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with children, families, and professionals.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social care, safeguarding, and commissioning.
