Our client is a 9-year-old girl who sustained a brain injury as a baby. We are looking for a warm, patient and reliable individual to work alongside the family to support and facilitate her independence. The Support Worker will also work in collaboration with the Senior Support Worker and with independent therapists in enabling the client to participate in effective neuro rehabilitation.

Our client needs assistance with her morning routine and with weekend and after school activities. She will be transported to school in the Sketty area of Swansea, where she requires support during her morning session. After school she attends therapy sessions and leisure activities and enjoys attending Gymnastics on a Saturday morning. The successful candidate will encourage and support her to access all these opportunities and more.

At times it may be necessary to work additional hours depending on the activities that the client wishes to attend. Support is also required for our client to enable her parents to have time away from their caring role and an occasional overnight weekend stay might be required.

Client wishes:
"I am happy, quirky and funny, and I would like someone who is kind, does not shout at me, and gets my sense of humour".
