Machine Setter
£Competitive Salary (D.O.E) + Shift Pay (1.33x) + Training + Progression + Pension + Excellent Company Benefits
This role is working 37.5 hours per week on shifts: 2 weeks on days (Mon-Fri= start time 7am or 7:30am) and 2 weeks on nights (Mon-Thurs= 6pm-6am Mon-Wed, and 6pm-1am Thurs)
Newark area, Nottinghamshire (Commutable from: Nottingham, Newark, Lincoln, Bingham, Tuxford and Mansfield)
Are you a Machine Setter / Operator with experience working within a manufacturing environment, looking for a Monday to Friday role within a successful and profitable global business, offering further career development?
The basic salary can be increased considerably through overtime so your overall earnings will be far in excess of £30k.
This is a varied role with a company who have a low staff turnover, which is always a great sign for a future employee. They also supply to a range of sectors meaning they are at lower risk as a business.
The ideal candidate will have previous setting / operating experience within an engineering / manufacturing environment, and looking to join a stable and supportive business with lots of training to progress their skillset.
The Role:
- Setting and operating various machinery
- Maintain and monitor the machines to ensure they function properly
- Carry out material changes and adjust / replace tooling
- Assist and provide technical support for the improvement of manufacturing processes
- Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- Additional Overtime available
The Person:
- Good mechanical skillset
- Experience working with machinery
- Engineering / Manufacturing background
- Willing to learn and develop
