Engage Education is currently seeking dedicated and passionate SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Teachers to join am academy in Croydon. This is a full time role
Key Responsibilities:
- Create Inclusive Learning Environments: Develop and implement strategies to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs in inclusive classrooms.
- Individualised Instruction: Tailor teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with Support Staff: Work closely with teaching assistants, counselors, and other support staff to provide comprehensive support for students with SEMH needs.
- Assessment and Progress Tracking: Monitor and assess students' progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experienced in teaching either English, Maths Science OR IT
- Specialised training or experience in supporting students with SEMH needs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
