Our client is a leader in supplying a range of PCR reagents to customers on a global basis looking to on-board another team member to support their growth across the Midlands and East Anglia territory.
Role Overview
As an Account Manager, you would be responsible for selling PCR/DNA kits and reagents into the Academic and Research Labs across the Midlands and East Anglia territory (Full training provided)
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of kits and reagents to academic, biotechnology and pharmaceutical accounts across the Midlands and East Anglia
- Secure new business and develop / protect existing accounts.
- Attend exhibitions in order to increase market presence of the company's products.
Person Specification
- Degree educated or higher in a science discipline i.e. molecular biology, genetics with good academic and practical experience in PCR and associated molecular techniques.
- Self-motivated, results oriented and a strong work ethic.
- Desire to move into scientific sales.
- Comfortable with travelling to different customer sites
Package
