Your new job working as a Senior Technician, will be working for an innovative and growing Independent Global Lloyd's Brokers who have been established for over 100 years. Due to substantial growth within their Operations team a permanent position for a Senior Technician has arisen.
Your new role
Your new job working as a Senior Technician means you will provide support to management and training to team members where required. Assisting with the production and analysis of daily / weekly and monthly reports relating to KPI's within the team. This role will
include working within the Operations team as a back-end Technician to complete all post bind activities for the broking team by ensuring efficient processes and practices are in place and assist with the production and analysis of daily/weekly/monthly reports relating to KPI's.This role will involve ensuring high professional standards and continual improvements in service delivery, producing debit/credit notes and bureau submissions. Duties will also include checking formal documents (e.g., BIDs, Certificates, Endorsements, MRCs, Policies) for accuracy before processing and issuing to clients and markets, processing transactions via the internal processing system and handling and resolving client queries. Additionally, you will need to keep statistical information up to date and ensure the filing system is always current, provide support to management and train team members, and work as part of a training team to test and implement new system enhancements.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Technician dealing with the back end processing, IMR and Exchanging will contribute to your success. You will be technically astute, highly literate with excellent planning, time management and organisation skills alongside your drive and motivation will allow you to adapt well into a diverse and growing team.PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING AS A BACK-END TECHNICIAN, PREMIUM PROCESSING AND UPLOADING TO IMR/XCHANGING, EXPERIENCE IN CHECKING OF MRC SLIPS ETC. IDEALLY YOU WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE OF OVERSEEING JUNIOR TECHNICIAN. THIS JOB E WILL INCLUDE TEAM LEADING/OVERSEEING JUNIOR TECHNICIANS
