Description
Project Management Accountant (FTC)
Assist with new projects within the finance team, including:
- Work with AP and AR team to understand internal processes to improve purchase orders, goods in transit and any other ad-hoc tasks
- Assist and support the management accountant with internal and external audit, prepare ETB and statutory accounts (usually between March to June each year)
Month end:
- Assist Management accountant and Financial controller with month-end close process and assist with preparing monthly management accounts, forecasts, budget and historical trends
- Assist with filing the monthly management accounts to US
- Preparation and ownership of monthly lease journals and lease reconciliations
- Update monthly Accruals and prepayments file
- Preparation of monthly customer rebates and incentive and reconciliation
- Support VAT and HMRC reporting
Profile
Project Management Accountant (FTC)
- Ideal candidate is immediately available, or able to start on short notice
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative to perform under pressure
- Multitasking
- Previous exposure to project management accountant work
- Previous experience in AR and AP
- Ideally finalist and/or studying towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Strong Excel skills and ability to analysis of large volumes of data
- Power BI, Dynamic 365/AX and Basware knowledge is desirable
