- Daily pay £95-£100 depending on experience
Empowering Learning are currently looking for a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to work within a school based in Croydon. We are looking for an outstanding and experienced Learning Support Assistants, who are dedicated to supporting children with various special needs on a 1:1 basis. Our school support children with various learning abilities, such as challenging behaviour and MLD so experience of working with a range of special needs would be desirable. We would be looking for a dynamic Learning Support Assistant who can work across various age groups within primary school age. Behaviour Mentors are also welcome to apply
Job Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 basis
- Supervising children in & out of the classroom
- Encourage and support the pupils learning
- Helping the teacher prepare for lessons and plan activities

Job Requirements
- Experience of working as a Learning Support Assistant/Classroom Assistant
- Experience supporting children with learning difficulties or disabilities
- Strong communication skills
- Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
- Available 5 days a week and able to commit
- Able to commit to 9-12 months and potentially longer
