We are currently working with a dedicated and passionate fostering agency who are looking for an experienced and dynamic Fostering Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
As the Fostering Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the fostering service.
- Leading and managing a team of social workers and support staff.
- Overseeing the recruitment, assessment, and approval of foster carers.
- Ensuring high standards of care and support for children and young people.
- Managing budgets and resources effectively.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures.
- Liaising with external agencies and stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards.
What you'll need to succeed
- A recognised social work qualification.
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in fostering services, including management experience.
- Strong knowledge of fostering regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to promoting the welfare of children and young people
