Business function

The SIP (Share Incentive Plan) ops team forms part of the wider Employee Services team and is made up of over 20 staff based across Worthing, Chennai and Bengaluru. The roles are primarily flexible but as there is always a presence in the office the expectation is that this role is office based.

As SIP Senior Administrator you are responsible for developing your own knowledge of the system, processes and product and using that knowledge to support with the smooth running of the team. This role will have a specific focus on enabling the move of work between locations and implementing operational efficiencies. During a critical period of change, this role requires strong interpersonal skills, empathy and the ability to support others

Role Summary

The Technical Specialist is a core member of the team and as such is expected to embody EQ's values and role model behaviours using your skills and knowledge you will work very closely with the Technical Specialists, team leaders and team manager to deliver great service.

Key Responsibilities will include

  • Using your expertise to support the wider team
  • Building knowledge of the system, product and processes
  • Identifying gaps in our offering against system requirements
  • Solution design
  • Creating procedures and processes
  • Keeping the skills matrix up-to-date and overseeing training
  • Mentoring/coaching as appropriate
  • Troubleshooting for issues identified by wider ops team and business
  • Oversight of change items into the team
  • Ensuring that procedures are up-to-date
  • Maintaining policy adherence across the team through education and walking-the-work
  • Supporting the roll out of new clients and new development
  • Promote and deliver continuous improvement throughout the team
  • Deliver MI as needed
  • Checking outputs/share moves/payments
