Below is a small overview of the role...
- Act as a mentor/support to our employees who are studying for their professional qualifications i.e. AAT, CIMA/ACCA through apprenticeship schemes.
- Be an expert on financial accounting principles, standards, and regulations, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
- Research, develop, document, and implement best practices in financial management, accounting, and reporting to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
- Identify inefficiencies in existing financial processes develop and implement solutions to streamline workflows and increase productivity.
- Support internal reviews of financial processes and adherence to best practices.
- Identify shortfalls and risks and provide feedback to relevant departments to ensure resolution.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's operational processes to understand their financial needs.
