As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for the handling, storage and sampling of materials and finished product on site. You will act as part of a team reporting to the Warehouse Coordinator.
- Unload and load incoming/outgoing shipments of material and products using forklift or pallet trucks.
- Movement of goods within the site, issuing materials to Production and transferring finished product to its allocated storage location
- Preparing goods for outgoing shipments, working with the QA department to ensure labelling is sufficient and correct.
- Checking incoming goods for defects and ensuring that all materials meet KD Pharma specifications.
- Sampling of goods when requested by QC or other departments.
- Dispensing materials for use in production processes
- Adhering to site procedures, environmental health, and safety legislation and GMP principles to maintain the quality of goods during handling and storage.
- General Housekeeping duties within the warehouse and plant.
- Cooperate and assist other departments as required within the confines of individual training and expertise.
Qualifications and Experience
FLT Licence is essential
GSCE or equivelant in Maths and English
Experience in fast paced warehouse enviroment
Familiar / good use of all microsft applications
